Course Extensions:
Extensions for online course materials are available on a case-by-case basis, subject to specific criteria. Meeting these criteria does not guarantee an extension, as each request will be reviewed individually.
To request an extension, you must:
- Request the extension before your course access expires. Requests made after the access period ends will not be granted.
- Provide proof of your scheduled exam date, such as a copy of your Prometric or jurisdictional examination appointment, showing your name, exam details, and the date. Access will not be extended beyond a scheduled exam date.
- Pay a non-refundable extension fee, based on the extension duration and course type. The fee must be paid before the extension is granted.
Extensions will be granted at the discretion of Kinetic Inspection & Testing Ltd. If an extension is longer than the original course access, we encourage you to re-enroll in the course at a discounted rate that will be provided by Kinetic Inspection & Testing Ltd. at the time of the extension request.
Please note that extensions are not automatically granted and are at the discretion of Kinetic Inspection & Testing Ltd. Please ensure you provide as much information as possible when requesting an extension.

CPD Hours
Registrants in our courses are eligible to earn CPD hours based on the time they spend on self-paced learning and live instruction time (if applicable). This amount will vary based on the course that participants are registered in. The online course software will track active hours spent by the course participant in the learning modules and practice questions. A certificate will be issued to the registrant upon completion of the course. This certificate will show the total number of self-paced, tracked hours spent by the course participant, and any live hours spent in webinars, as applicable. Please note:
- Course participants will receive up to a maximum number of hours for the course they are registered in. Each course description provides the maximum number of hours possible in that course. The maximum is not automatic. If a course participant spends less than the maximum hours in the course, they will only receive CPD hours for the time tracked.
- To receive credit for the CPD hours, the entire course must be completed. This includes all lessons, practice questions, quizzes, and Practice Exams. Incomplete training materials are not eligible for CPD hours.
- CPD hours and completion certificates will not be issued prior to the completion of the course.
- Course access will end upon issuance of a certificate of completion showing CPD hours.
- Course participants are responsible for ensuring that CPD hours for self-paced learning are acceptable to the organization they require them for.
