Required Software (100% Free)
To view API or ASME documents supplied by Kinetic, you must use the following software combination on your computer. No other software will work.

Adobe Acrobat Reader: The industry-standard free PDF viewer. (Standard web browsers, Mac Preview, or other PDF apps will fail to open the files).

FileOpen Plugin: A free, lightweight security plugin that runs quietly inside Adobe Reader to authorize secure documents.
If you purchase the code package with your course, links to Adobe and FileOpen will be included in the document email you will receive within 24 hours of registration.
⚠️ Critical Device & Security Restrictions

One-Device Limit: Once you activate your documents, they are permanently locked to that specific computer. You cannot open them on a second computer, a work laptop, or a phone later. Choose your study device carefully!

No Sharing or Transferring: The files are digitally watermarked, monitored, and encrypted. Any attempt to copy, email, or share the files will result in your access being instantly and permanently revoked.

No Printing: The API and ASME documents are not able to be printed.

Access Expiration: Your document access matches your course duration and will automatically expire at the conclusion of your course.
